Here's Ella dancing to Saturday Night Fever!

I'm all dressed up for church! Do you like my pretty hairbow?!

This is Grandaddy (Kate's Dad) holding Ella! We all had fun when Aunt Tammi (Kate's sister) came to Colorado to visit the new babies. We all went to Breckenridge one day and to our surprise Octoberfest was going on! This is Grammy Melinda holding Ella and Millie-her favorite thing to do!

This is Ella with her Grandma "Mimi" (Kate's Mom). Mimi takes long lunches from work sometimes to come visit us. We love it when she visits! Mimi works and lives close so we get to see her pretty often (I'm sure not often enough though according to Mimi!) We love her and Poppy (Grandpa Jerry)!
This is Ella and her cousin Camilla Rose, or Millie for short. She was born on July 5th, 2008, just 18 days before Ella. We're sure they will grow up to be great friends!
Auntie Krissy, Uncle Josh and cousin Millie live in Longmont, CO.
It's been a huge blessing for my little sis Kristin and I to have our pregnancies and babies around the same time. Plus, Kristin is an nurse specializing in OB so I ask her lots of questions!

Getting ready for my first Halloween!

Ella is going to be a little cow for her first Halloween! Her Auntie Carolyn (Greg's sister) sent her these Halloween PJs, which say
"Bat Club" on them! We miss Aunt Carolyn, and cousins Joshua, Devin, Katelyn and Jacob, who live in southern California.

These pictures are from the day Ella Marin was born, Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 at 5:55pm. She was born almost 4 weeks early, and weighed 5lbs 130z. Despite being early, she had no health problems which Greg and I were very grateful for. Ella was born at Littleton Adventist hospital in Littleton, CO. This is also the hospital where I work, in the ICU.
To our surprise, with no bags packed and no car seat in the car, my water broke at 2am on 7/23/08 and Greg and I went to the hospital . I labored until about noon and decided to take some Pitocin to speed things along (I also got an epidural at this time!). Ella was born a few hours later around 6pm. Lots of people were there with Greg and I to see Ella be born - my Mom Nancy, my Dad Doug and stepmom Melinda, Auntie Krissy (my sister), and Auntie Melanie (my best friend). There wasn't a dry eye in the room when she was born!

Hi, I'm Ella and I love hanging out with my Mommy and Daddy! We love to go on walks near our house. I wasn't too fond of the baby bjorn when I was smaller but now I like it!
My Mommy is a nurse and I'm lucky because I get to spend all week with her since she only works on the weekend. Daddy takes good care of me on Friday and Sunday nights while she is away. During the week, Daddy works hard running his own painting business and taking a class to get into radiology tech school!
